She began her career at National City Bank (now PNC Bank).
Currently Michelle is responsible for comprehensive planning for the Axiom Financial Strategies Group team, which includes asset allocation and retirement planning strategies for clients, liability management, and strategies involving life insurance and long-term care insurance. She also oversees the team’s many 401k plans, taking them through design and implementation, and continuing with the employee enrollment process and reviews.
Michelle chose to earn the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification, which is issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, because it is the nation’s most respected all-inclusive financial planning credential. She is required to complete 30 credit hours of continuing education every two years to maintain this premier credential and stay up-to-date on the complexities of the ever-changing financial climate. The continuing education requirement also includes a focus on ethical practices, ensuring that all CFP® professionals uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence.
Michelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in both finance and business management from Indiana University. She serves her community as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Clark & Floyd Indiana.
