Sawyer Lillard

Financial Paraplanner

Originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, Sawyer relocated to the Louisville area to join the Axiom team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, with an emphasis in Finance and Banking. Shortly after completing his degree, Sawyer stepped into the paraplanner role, where he supports advisors by preparing for client meetings, assisting with financial plan development, and ensuring clients receive consistent, thoughtful guidance.

From a very early age, Sawyer knew that he wanted to have a career in finance. Growing up, his parents gave him envelopes based on the principles of personal finance expert Dave Ramsey. Whenever he got his allowance, Sawyer had to allocate it into three envelopes: save, spend and give. In high school, his mom took him to an informational interview with her financial advisor. It was then Sawyer decided that this was the path for him.

Throughout college and high school, Sawyer worked for a local bank specializing in retail banking. Upon graduation, a mutual friend introduced Sawyer to Vaughan Scott, and he was hired as a Paraplanner in January of 2026. He also has the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®) designation.

Sawyer considers himself a “people person” and is passionate about helping others fulfill their dreams. He feels strongly that having a solid financial path can alleviate fears and positively affect many aspects of one’s life.

Sawyer lives in Louisville with his wife Olivia.
