Axiom Financial Strategies Group is an independent financial advisory firm built on decades of experience. The members of our talented and credentialed professional team have worked with some of the largest financial institutions in the world. We specialize in investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, and risk management.
As a unique financial firm based in Southern Indiana, with a reach coast-to-coast, we can offer highly personalized experience for our clients, using tools that are often more state-of-the-art than those national institutions utilize. We are dedicated to helping individuals, families, and organizations grow and protect their wealth, while achieving their specific financial goals.
During your 8-week internship, you’ll work closely with seasoned experts who hold designations such as Certified Financial Planner, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Private Wealth Advisor, and Retirement Income Certified Professional, giving you the opportunity to deepen your understanding of financial advisory services through direct mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow and assist financial paraplanners/ advisors with document preparation, investment modeling, and performance reporting
- Gain exposure to financial planning software platforms, including Advyzon and MoneyGuide
- Build foundational knowledge of retirement planning, including plan administration and compliance, fiduciary management, participant education, and plan sponsor engagement
- Develop familiarity with insurance planning, including life, health, and long-term care insurance
- Observe and participate in various client presentations
- Engage in “Lunch and Learns” covering general business and financial advisory related topics
Qualifications and Skills:
- Incoming Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- High attention to detail
- Sharp analytical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
Work Schedule
- 3 days per week, specific days to be determined at a later date (Part-time)
